When a learner checks out, Wisdom LMS creates a Stripe Checkout session with the items in their order and hands them to Stripe's hosted payment page. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never pass through the learning platform. Stripe confirms the result two ways: it tells the platform when the learner returns from checkout, and it sends a webhook independently, so a payment is still recorded correctly if the learner closes their browser at the wrong moment.
For subscription courses, the integration creates the recurring price in Stripe with the interval you configured, and Stripe collects renewals from then on.
