Take payment from people who cannot or will not pay by card. Publish your bank details as a payment option, let the learner upload proof of their transfer, and approve it to enroll them.
Create a manual payment method with a title learners will recognize, such as Bank Deposit or Direct Transfer, and write the instructions in a rich-text editor. Your new platform ships with a Bank Deposit method already created and switched off, ready for you to fill in your account name, bank, branch, account number, and any reference format you want people to quote. Add as many methods as you need, and enable or disable each one independently.
At checkout, a learner choosing a manual method sees your instructions in full and completes the transfer through their own bank. They then upload a confirmation document, a photo of the deposit slip or a transfer screenshot, and can add a note explaining anything unusual about the payment. The order is created and sits pending rather than being lost.
Pending manual payments appear for review. An administrator opens the uploaded document, checks it against the order, enters the date the transaction actually happened, and approves. That marks the order paid using the real transaction date rather than the approval date, and the learner is enrolled automatically, exactly as if they had paid by card.
The uploaded confirmation document is only viewable by people with permission to approve manual payments. Learners cannot browse each other's receipts, and staff without that permission see that a document exists without being able to open it.
Accept payment from partner organizations, grant-funded programs, and community groups that pay by transfer against an invoice and will never use a card. It also covers the sponsor who pays for ten places at once.
Reach learners in regions where card penetration is low or international gateways are unreliable. A local bank transfer is often the only realistic way to pay, and this keeps those learners inside the same enrollment flow as everyone else.
Learners without cards still enroll through the normal flow.
Every approval is backed by an uploaded confirmation document.
One approval marks the order paid and grants course access.
